RHR International Company, a world leader in executive and organizational development, announced today the introduction of The RHR Executive ProfileSM, a new state-of-the-art tool for assessing and developing senior leaders. The RHR Executive ProfileSM is a unique instrument that has been validated on over 1,000 senior executives (CEO’s, C-suite positions, their direct reports and high potentials). The tool will enhance RHR consultants’ ability to assess candidates for those positions, effectively integrate new leaders into those roles, identify and develop high potential executives, coach people in key leadership roles, and assess and develop effective senior teams.
“This new product was developed to be used in conjunction with RHR’s interview-based executive assessment,” said Jeff Durocher, Vice President of Market Development for RHR International. “The result is a recommendation based on our doctoral-level consultant’s expert judgment combined with the data provided by a reliable and valid psychometric instrument.”
Dr. Ed Ryterband, a Senior Consultant for the New York office of RHR, directed the development of the instrument. He commented, “The tool has been developed especially for senior leaders, where the decisions for managing talent are the most critical. It will add insights to our consultants’ work and allow us to do more scalable programs, for example, with groups of high potentials. It will also enhance our ability to measure the impact of our work and the effect of related talent management projects for our clients.”
The RHR Executive ProfileSM is based on the five core dimensions of the RHR Leadership Model (Problem-Solving and Thinking, Emotion and Motivation, Interpersonal Relations and Communication Style, Understanding of Self and Others, and Work and Leadership). The results of a particular individual are compared to a large and rapidly growing data base of senior leaders. High scores indicate a greater potential to demonstrate leadership talent and aspirations; scores in the mid-range are typical of most senior leaders and executives; and scores in the low range suggest less potential to demonstrate these dimensions.
Typically, The RHR Executive ProfileSM is administered online and takes 35 to 40 minutes. The instrument can be taken in eight languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Danish, Dutch, Polish, and Bulgarian. The results are reviewed with the RHR consultant to enable clients to make better decisions about who to hire, who to promote, and how to develop and deploy people to support current and future growth needs.
